Hey guys, here are now the news of April 25 🙂 First of all - the brand new system of the website go polished more and some minor issues are now hopefully fixed. I have reordered the navigation and the structure of the website. Now you find 3 main departments in the naviation : HPCrazy Guitar Academy Services HP's Music You can expand each of the departments to find the subcategories - and there are many. But I think now all is set for the short and mid-term future of this website. And I must say I really love it. The Best of the Best. Now lets move on to the latest tutorials in the HPCrazy Guitar Academy : Blues Old Finger Style Blues Guitar Riff : Here I show you a very cool old finger style blues guitar riff. It is played with a capo on the 3rd fret, with old style blues guitar sound settings and old fingerstyle technique. It's fun - check it out ! Easy Mixolydian Blues Guitar : If you are fed up with using the minor pentatonic in blues guitar then you are ready for the next step. Here I show you the first steps to use the mixolydian mode on blues guitar. Drop C Blues Guitar Riff - Half Crazy ( Barr Brothers ) : Here I show you a great blues guitar riff of the song " Half Crazy " by the Barr Brothers which you can play with a Drop C tuning. If you just want to play the song I also show you how the riff can be played with a 7-string guitar or a regular tuned guitar. Rock Drop Type Rock Guitar Riff : Here I show you a great rock guitar riff which makes your rock guitar sound modern as if you would have played it with a drop tuning or a 7- or 8-string guitar. 3 Long Meter Rock Guitar Licks : Here I show you 3 cool long meter rock guitar licks and what is more important I explain to you where they come from and how you can start working to play such cool rock guitar licks. Rock Guitar Ballad - Less Is More : In music but especially in a rock guitar ballad playing less notes is in 95% of the cases more. In this tutorial I show you how you can analyze a song, figure out the chords and then start to play melodical with the chords. Jazz Basic Smooth Jazz Guitar 5 - Building Up Technique : This is the final tutorial of the Basic Smooth Jazz Guitar Course. This is also the bridge to the upcoming " Intermediate Smooth Jazz Guitar Course " and will prepare your playing technique for the upcoming challenges. Smile ( Charlie Chaplin ) Guitar Lesson : Here I show you the theme and the chords of the song " Smile " by Charlie Chaplin. At the end I give some tips for the improvisation. So these were now the latest tutorials. I was in a phase of checking all these drop tuning things out which you find everywhere in modern blues and rock recordings. Music I have started to compose again and working on a new guitar CD. This goes hand in hand. I will do several edits where one style I pitch to music libraries to get my music continued in synch business for TV and movies. I can tell the competition is very high and so are the demands but I made up my business plan that I can start the pitching process again beside my regular duties. Here you find 2 recordings which I pitched to a instrumental blues request. I still don't have an anwser but I love the recordings and for sure I will use edits of them on my new upcoming CD. Beside that I have performed many concerts in March 25 - some of them got broadcasted live on YouTube and some not because I did not have the resources to set up a livestream each time. But all concerts where it's possible to do a livestream are featured here in the event calendar. Check it out regulary if you are interested in those concerts. https://www.hanspeterkruesi.com/members/events/ 2 of them are now featured on a swiss wide concert tour of our professional Swiss Music Pedagogic Association on their Tour Musical : https://www.tour-musical.ch/tourkarte/ And I am now trying again to form a band in order to perform the blues and blues rock programm. More news to come soon... Thats now all for this month. Thats for your on going support. If you love my work please support it with a premium member ship and / or a donation. As mentioned in the tutorial - on the first part with 5 bars of Fmaj - I do the movement from F to Fmaj7 to F6 with arpeggio's - on the Abdim I would do a diminished arpeggio. On G-7 you use dorian, D7 phrygian nat. 3 on Bb-7 Eb7 we change the key for 2 bars to Ab but you treat those 2 chords as a II V - I will talk about this in future tutorials. When you do an analyis for the improvisation you always search for the II V progressions and therefore you have licks which you use for II V progressions. We have a 2nd one at the end of the tune with Ab-7 Db7 - here another key change to Gb. To make it easier - follow the melody and play around the melody in your improv. and when those " out of key " moments come just follow the melody as well.
