    Here you find some easy rock guitar licks in the D major and D minor pentatonic which are very similar. They both work on the backing track added. If you use the major pentatonic you sound more rock-style and if you use the minor pentatonic you sound more blues style. The interesting part is to mix them to create a cool rock guitar solo on progression which works for both. These files are associated to this tutorial :
