Navigation and News Feeds ------------------------------------- With the completly overworked website the navigation and the news feeds got way easier to follow. So here are the things you can now monitor yourself. When you go to the frontpage now you find all relevant information you need just on one page. There are 3 main newsfeeds visible there. https://www.hanspeterkruesi.com/ The Guitar Academy News Feed The Music News Feed The Online Events News Feed You also find the links to log in and to all essential user information nessary on that page. Important to know are the User Guidelines which are also displayed with a link there : https://www.hanspeterkruesi.com/members/guidelines/ and I once again want to highlight the referral system which all registered members can use. Just follow the instructions which are described here : The whole system is buildt to offer you guys a great platform where you can talk about music, guitar playing and interact with your instructor. But I strongly recommend that you also start to talk with eachother. And if you love this website please make a premium membership upgrade to support the work which is done. If you feel that you want to participate more you can also make an additionl donation : https://www.hanspeterkruesi.com/members/clients/donations/ or just support this website by sharing links and helping to spread the word. The motto of this website is " Fair Use " everybody offers what is possible and that's why there is a system which can work for anybody. In the lower part of the main page you find featured services which might be in your interest. Check them out :

Hey Folks, since my main social media profile got hacked I decided to stop with Facebook now as a centre of the communication between you ( fans out there ) and me on Facebook and take in the HPCrazy Students Club as a centre of the interaction since all functions of Facebook are available here too just that I dont use your data such as facebook is doing. The basic functions are all free - just downloads of the tutorials or other music I post are only available for premium members ... as before. But even with the basic membership you get more interaction then on Facebook before since this is a more private club here and we are among eachothers. Was kind of a struggle but after being hacked 2 times in short time on Facebook I have enough of Facebook also for other reasons. So if you love my work this is now the place to be and to interact with me. ? Thanks for following me and my work. ? HP

Hey folks, I have change the system here a bit. The part where you find all tutorials including the tabs and backing tracks is now named HPCRAZY GUITAR ACADEMY and the Students Club is still the HPCrazy Students Club. Free membership allows to download all files here in the students club if you have clicked on the " Join " button. It also includes to take part of the discusssion in the Guitar Academy and to open topics here in the club. Access to all downloads in the Guitar Academy or other parts of the music site require a premium membership upgrade. I think it's worth the money. So dont hesitate to make the upgrade. Thats about the changments here.

Here I will post some of my performance video's which I sometimes post on my Instagram or Facebook Account. But you dont need them since you can watch them here B-) Here's a first one. I call it " Cream Machine " - since I was experimenting with some cool lead sounds in order to create a really cool and creamy leadsound. Therefore I took a britsch amp just with master volume to get max. tube saturation and added a ducking delay and here we have the result. Love it ?

Finally I found my style in jazz, so that I can fully live out my creativity on the guitar and it doesn't sound like usual jazz guitar anymore. First to be heard at the Jazznight in Zug from Oct 3 in Monsieur Baquette together with the guys from HazzdaJazz. I have been following the style of George Benson, Wes Montgomery and Joe Pass a long time but never felt like flying when I played this styIe. This has changed now - really love it. I will open up a vlog here in the HPCrazy Students Club where you can follow me on my path to that style.

Listen to my version of George Bensons " Affirmation " played with a lot of Legato technique and some Sweeping technique as well. Since the chords are changing so fast was not much time for extended Sweeping technique. But thats a way to go.

Thanks Phil, sorry there aren't any tabs available. But the key is F major which are the same notes as D minor. Just an other root note. Check those patterns here. They work out fine and are basicly the ones I used. Beautiful Professor ... just beautiful. Is there a TAB available, or did you just play ad-lib? If my fretboard lessons are progressing, and some knowledge is being absorbed, would I be correct in guessing that that was played in D minor? I had trouble establishing if you were playing Pentatonic Shape 1 on either fret 5 or fret 10 ..... I gambled on 10? Please put me out of my misery ... whether good or bad news.

Hi guys, I just thought I'd tell you about this very useful FREE tool that I've been using for quite a few months. It's called "Chordfinder.com" ... and can be used for not only finding out about various chords shapes/positions, but also different tunings, triads, arpeggios, and scales ... it's even got a built in "Quiz" to test your knowledge and progress. You can locate it here, I hope you find it useful too .... https://www.chordfinder.com/guitar-scales.php

Randy reacted to Phil for a post in a topic

    1 point
Personally, I believe I am "Beginner/Intermediate" .... I studied quite a bit of theory when I started learning the guitar, and I now sometimes feel that my theoretical knowledge exceeds my practical playing ability. I'm hoping it will catch up with Hanspeters' help .....
  22. What is your current playing level?

I think quite a few players are from beginners - intermediate. So this is the level I am targeting with all my normal guitar lessons. Guitar Masterclasses are then from intermediate - advanced.
  23. How to use the HPCrazy Students Club

Randy reacted to admin for a post in a topic

    1 point
Hey folks, there have only been a few months since I have opened up the HPCrazy Students Club and we are now approaching 100 members which is pretty cool. So here my thoughts for you students how to use the HPCrazy Students Club. If you are a free member or a premium member you both have the possibility to start new topics here. So you can use this feature to talk with other students about whatever you want. What is now coming in the near future are the Guitar Nights here in Switzerland were students of mine can participate live in the opening act. This refers to the online students and my students here in Switzerland as well. So here you can choose and discuss the songs which you want to play on such opening act. Beginners are also welcome. The opening acts are not about perfection - it's about fun playing guitar. But you need to be able to play your parts through - thats the only condition to play at a opening act. Yeah so these were now the amazing news - stay tuned and keep on practicing guitar. And remember our community motto : WE ARE ALL CRAZY ... crazy about guitar playing. HP

Hi HP. Really like your music and the help you give on technique and music in your posts. I am a beginner player and I must say your finger exercises have really helped me get some finger independence. I know the answer will probably be no but no harm in asking. You did a brilliant post on the 24th Jan 2018 called Crispy Licks. Would the tab be available? I know I should get it piece by piece by replaying the video as I probably will learn it better that way, but being time poor I thought I would ask. Anyway thanks for what you have given us and I look forward to improving myself to play more of your posts. Cheers Chris Kessling

Hi Thanks for the reply, yes the finger exercises have helped. Understand you do not remember it all, you do put out a lot of work. Not sure if the web address helps as me being not too computer literate I am unsure what the time index means. Tried to post web address but may have stuffed up. Never mind I shall try the slow but probably more efficient approach. Do like your work. Thanks

Hey folks, I have decided to change my strategy in tutorials a bit now due to the most recent developments in the legal section due to article 13 which has be approved by the EU parlament. This was the first step in a new direction on hosting platforms such as YouTube and the first effects are already showing up. Therefore check the video below. This means that I will no longer go for cover songs and cover tutorials which apparently does not have such a bit effect on my guitar channel because my teaching method never has been tied up to cover songs - more on the individual expression. If you think the guy in this video is over reacting - he is not. I have some additional knowledge which leads to my desicion to stop making more cover tutorials. Personaly I am glad because I never liked to do any cover tutorials - it's not my way to thinking music.

Randy reacted to admin for a post in a topic

    1 point
Hi everybody, this HPCrazy Students Club here went through a beta phase now in the past 2 months and now I will soon change the system of HPCrazy Students Club. It will soon be visible here in the forum and will be more or less the same as now with 3 changments. 1. There will be a students discussion forum where you can talk with others, open topics .. .whatever you want. That will be for free. 2. The Tutorials will be in placed in categories which make it easier for you to find what you are interested. The files for download will only be available for those who made the upgrade to premium member. https://www.hanspeterkruesi.com/members/index.php?/subscriptions/ 3. I will install a support system where you can get a professional review of your playing related to any topic. Be prepared to that - you can also send a video of you playing to get my tips and advice on your video you are sending. That will not be for free - I still think about the price for one support question. It can not be free since it will take me time to really check your playing and to give you the proper advice. All in all some amazing changments which are coming. I think it will make the system more professional and therefore I can not offer everything for free. I think the subscription price is more then fair. The donation system did not really work out in the past 12 months and so this changment makes sense.
