In fact yes - I have been on the road in professional internet business since 2003 and I can tell it was a mistake to go to social media. These days they do what they want and it makes no sense to invest too much time into these platforms anymore. I am really glad I started to go back to my platform back in 2019. The traffic is still not too high but at least the work I am doing here for you guys is sustainable.

It is quite a while since my last blog entry. the reason for that is that I was very busy in many projects and some are there any time to write blog entries in the past 12 months. Due to the corona crisis and the lockdown there was now time to reconsider and overthink many things in my work and so I want to present my thoughts and results here. HPCrazy Guitar Academy Having a meening in my work as a composer and musician was always important for me so I was thinking how can I my thoughts and philosophy into my work as a musician. Some people might search too far and I came to the finding that with my HPCrazy guitar Academy I am already doing in it big contribution to many fans of guitar playing. I've monitored my statistics in the past months and I had between 70000 to 100000 unique viewers per month on my HPCrazy guitar Channel on YouTube. So it was not such a brainer just anymore to put all efforts to develop the HPCrazy Guitar Academy to the next step. Somehow the lockdown was a good opportunity for me because it because it gave me the time to do the necessary steps to which were needed to get on the next professional level of the HPCrazy Guitar Academy. So now this journey has started at many members has already joined the academy and more will come and I will put my effort into this work since this is the way for the future. Hanspeter Kruesi is a trained professional pianist, guitarist and composer from Switzerland and has been working as a freelance artist since 1989. Since 2003 his compositions have been used in numerous national and international TV and film productions (SRF, ABC, BBC and many more). Starting as Bar & Jazz Pianist In the years 1989 to 1996 Hanspeter Kruesi was mainly professionally active as a jazz pianist & bar pianist. In Zurich he played mainly in the then well-known Zurich clubs, the Splendid Bar, the Widder Bar and the Casa Bar either as solo pianist or in various jazz formations or in other Swiss jazz clubs. As an artist accompanist for professional singers, he was very busy in the jazz scene at that time. He also played professionally as a pianist in various formations such as Big Bands, Jazz Quartets, Jazz Quintets or Top 40 or Blues & Boogie Woogie Bands. He played at various jazz festivals like the jazz festival Lichtensteig or the jazz festival Jona or other jazz festivals as a solo pianist as well as other formations. in 1996 he started studying at the conservatory, but unfortunately had to give up playing the piano after a few months due to a chronic tendinitis. since he played the guitar as a secondary instrument at that time, he spontaneously switched to the guitar from main instrument and interrupted his career as a pianist for several years. in 1999 he finished his music studies with a diploma as guitarist. Years As Guitarist In 1999 Hanspeter Krüsi started working on his former web portal Gitarrist.ch and started a career in the then emerging internet which quickly became very successful. Since then he is present as a guitarist worldwide on the subject of guitar, guitar music and guitar playing on the Internet. His music has already been played on various international radio stations, his videos and recordings have received very positive attention and mention in countless specialist portals. From 2006 - 2012 he was a featured Instructor on www.guitartricks.com, the top portal for guitar and guitar playing at that time and supervised more than 60000 students - in 2007 he was even an endorser and online instructor on gibson.com. The year 2003 is 2007 maps of the exploration and specification of a concept of improvisation and the representation of colours through music. The term color music was defined. Music concerts are improvised classically inspired concerts, which should bring this concept to the audience. This concept is very unique in its kind. The field of colour and music has not yet been thoroughly explored, but many concerts have shown that a large part of the audience recognizes the colours in the music pieces and the colour improvisations. A scientific claim to music and colour and the psychological context is not the aim of colour music concerts. The goal is a comprehensive musical enjoyment through all colours, which captivates the audience, even those who may not be able to perceive a connection between the music and the colour directly. Therefore the claim of the Colour Music Piano Concerts is that it is an individual interpretation of the colours in the music and not a scientifically proven concept. Here's a guitar version of the Swiss National Anthem - Tritts im Morgenrot daher. I got inspired by the Jimi Hendrix Version of Star Sprangled Banner in Wookstock. But my version is less wild. Swiss National Day is on Aug 1st.

Here a blues played on the day of the fullmoon eclipse on Aug 7th 2017. This was a spontanious improvisation and recorded first take after a longer holiday break. I wanted to catch the energies of the fullmoon eclipse into my music.

Here you can see the full moon of 12.3.17 rising from one of my favorite meditation spots located at the lake of Greifensee in Switzerland. The Piano is improvisation in 6/8 mainly in the color indigo. The messure of 6/8 gives this ethernal dance vibe to the improvisation.

Here the view in 4K from one of my very favorite spots for meditation. It's the top of Pfannenstil where you can see very far. Below is the lake of Zürich covered by a sea of fog. Here's a view from the ferry on the lake of Zürich crossing from Meilen to Horgen. The music is an experimental thing with a cool jazz piano with some groovy elements.

Many people don't know that I am originally a jazz guitar player loving smooth jazz tunes in special. I am still a big admirer of George Benson and Wes Montgomery so this is my tribute to these great protagonists.

This is a combination of cinematic and ambient elements with an oboe flying above everything. The video footage is taken at Forch ( Switzerland ) with GoPro Hero 4 Black.

Here's a compostion for piano and strings. The video is a timelapse shot taken on sunset at Lake Greifensee in Switzerland. The entire scene was nearly 2 hours long.

I have released a pur piano CD with me playing a full concert in all colors. The entire CD is improvised and was recorded in one hour - all first take. Kind of the " Pure Music " approach which I really love.

Here's a smooth jazz guitar tune kind in the style of Lee Ritenour but with a cinematic approach. I also played the piano. :-)
