Disappointing and very aggravating!

I want to make an update on my experience with Tik Tok - and this experience prooves that I am right to set all my energy on my own plattform : The first months on Tik Tok I got like 1000 - 10000 views on my uploads with hardly any subscribers. So I thought I am doing something right and I just continued. But now out of the nowhere the alogerithm has changed. I get more subscribers but hardly any views on uploads anymore. The numbers are now around 30 - 50 views for similar content which I did before. Even Tik Tok is a popular plattform this incident prooves that one wasts the time to get a strategy on any plattform because if the company decides to change the alogerithm they don't ask you and all your work was for nothing.

Creativity and Meditation What is the connection between meditation and creativity ? I want to share my thoughts and my way of living creativity. My way of seeing music, art, thoughts and life is, that everything is already there you just need to open up your mind to see or feel it and then start to create. There is a prominent example for that way of thinking. When Michelangelo, the famous italian artist was asked how he created his famous David statue he answered that the statue was always there he just needed to remove the unnecessary parts from the stone. It's the same with music. Music is something which has always been there you just need to be able to hear the music. One can not create something which has not been there - it's part of nature and part of everything. And how do you hear that music ? Here comes the meditation - by switching all other noises in your conscious. That can work with meditation or what I often did with long jogging tours. I can not tell how many songs I composed while I was jogging. The main technique to open yourself up for music and switching off everything else which disturbs the creative process. It can also happen that you hear music while you are sleeping. I compose quite a few songs like this. Es gibt ein prominentes Beispiel für diese Denkweise. Als Michelangelo, der berühmte italienische Künstler, gefragt wurde, wie er seine berühmte David-Statue erschaffen hat, antwortete er, dass die Statue schon immer da war, er musste nur die unnötigen Teile aus dem Stein entfernen. Genauso ist es mit der Musik. Musik ist etwas, das schon immer da war, man muss nur in der Lage sein, die Musik zu hören. Man kann nicht etwas erschaffen, was nicht schon da war - es ist Teil der Natur und Teil von allem. Und wie kann man diese Musik hören? Hier kommt die Meditation - indem Du alle anderen Geräusche in Deinem Bewusstsein ausschaltest. Das kann mit Meditation funktionieren oder was ich oft bei langen Joggingtouren gemacht habe. Ich kann nicht sagen, wie viele Lieder ich während des Joggens komponiert habe. Die wichtigste Technik ist, sich für die Musik zu öffnen und alles andere auszuschalten, was den kreativen Prozess stört. Es kann auch passieren, dass man Musik hört, während man schläft. Ich komponiere ziemlich viele Songs auf diese Weise. Das Bild, das Sie sehen, ist an einem meiner Lieblingsmeditationsplätze in der Natur auf einem Hügel aufgenommen.

Ah ok - that's interesting HP. What comes to MY mind is to tune the guitar in open Tunings and let the strings ring full - without the need to think about the "right tones" 🙂

Thats a wonderful description Andrea - thanks for letting us know. 🙂 I think this way of meditation and creativity works for everybody. I think I will make some more tutorials about techniques to play guitar and meditate at the same time to help those who still have difficulties on that. 🙂

If my intention is to calm down I meditate for a while. If I play music over a long time - more and more musical ideas are shown to me. After some days of playin a lot - my soul and body needs to calm down for a long time. Thats the circle I`'m in. If I play a lot I sometimes dream of little music phrases in the morning. If I meditate a lot I become more and more still inside. Where I wrap my mind around the well opens - for the possibilities that are here. Greets Andrea

I feel I am improving with your lessons for sure - so sometimes I am able to translate some of what is in my head musically. I am happy you are doing another Guitar Night - I wont be able to watch it live, but it will be something to look forward to tomorrow morning. 😀

Hey Sara, thanks for letting me know that. I did not know that. I just heard about the story about the David statue and found that a good example to explain how creativity can work. I read in a book about meditation in City noises and it should now disturb you if you don't have another solution. It's a matter of concentration I think - but I understand that. I am also pretty noise sensitive. 🙂 Thats great that you hear music that way. The right path would be to improve your musical abilities that you are able to translate the music you hear on your guitar or your recordings. As I always say in teaching - music is always here you just need to learn how to translate it. 🙂

It is interesting to learn more about your feelings on meditation and creativity. I really like that quote about Michelangelo and I always felt his "unfinished sculptures" (image attached) were actually intentionally unfinished in order to demonstrate this idea. I have tried to meditate but have always found it difficult (blaming things like the constant city noise, ect.) but maybe I should try again. I am starting to hear music in my dreams sometimes - that is very exciting. Difficult to capture the ideas when they come but I try. The problem that I find is that I have too many music recordings with ideas and not enough time to organize them or improve them - I have to be more selective perhaps and concentrate more on one thing but it is difficult to know which path to go down.

Sitting here at my favorite spot for creative thoughts and meditation at Greifensee in Switzerland I am reviewing my personal experiences and findings during the past 12 months which of course have been affected by Covid 19 as well as for many of us and made me think about many things in life - also since in my personal life some things have changed for the good and some for the more difficult ways and it brought me to the finding that I will enter more into creative works again. In the past 12 months I was absorbed by many things also by the changements in our society and I needed to face that my business which was always running well over decades suddenly got into problems just because of the situation in our society. I was running 2 strategies. One just to survive as a musician in lockdown situations and the other to build my online business which I was about to leave before Covid striked the world. But I don't want to get too much into details since this is affecting all of us so here are my plans which I am about to follow during this year and which settled at the shore of this beautiful lake. 1. Social Media strategy - I will drive all traffic now to this website here. This will be the center of my activities in music and philosophical thoughts. I personally believe that it's best to become more independent from the big social media platforms. I have the RSS Feed activated here. You find it in the little orange symbol on the right bottom corner of this page. The RSS feed will be spread to my other websites and I am trying to pull all traffic here to this website. If you have a website and you want to support me you are free to use my RSS feed and embed it on your website. 2. HPCrazy Guitar Academy - The YouTube channel will remain and will keep the pace up to 2 tutorials per week but I will also add more lifestreams where you can get more background insight and also more concerts with different types of things I am working on. I try to get guests in my show but musicians currently are not really willing to collaborate in my surroundings. But it's a plan to enlarge the concept. I will also get more into different genres, playing styles and guitars. I have updated my gear tremendously and it will now come more into action on the HPCrazy YouTube Channel. https://www.youtube.com/user/hpcrazycom 3. Farbmusik - I will start to put much more effort in the Farbmusik and specially in the section of meditation - and healing music and also will start to create concepts for healing with music. I will also bring in my knowledge of astrology - I am a professional Astrologer, I just never talked about it before in my official channels and in combination of that I am also a spiritual adviser and healer with the focus on healing with music, also by taking astrological constellations in account. You can expect many things to come. I will do this in german and in english. This will also include live streaming concerts and healing and meditation sessions live with music.I will also offer astrological / musical counselings - if you are interested please contact me. I started this work 2 years ago. This part of my knowledge was always hidden from my official music channels but I decided that's now the time to merge everything to one creative expression. And that's also one of the reasons I will pull all traffic from all channels now to this page. There was also a thought to get engaged in political things since the world is now dramatically changing and I have been into politics all my life. Before I became a musician I studied history and politics at the University of Zürich but I came to the finding that what I described above is the right way for me and this way I can serve people most because even music has not such a huge recognition in society it has one of the highest impact to people when it comes to emotions.

I have totaly updated my studio with new equipment. Some was very old and needed to be replaced and some of it was just to give me new inspiration. This one here is the AKAI Force. A great colorful tool where I can produce new music and specially for the HPCrazy Nights to give them finally the colorful vibe I always wanted to have. This is now a first try with a default setting and I must say I love it - I am looking forward to produce my own cool sounds and beats.

I have upgraded the membersection here to the latest version now. This seem to be a major upgrade with some new functions. Would anybody be interested to have a chat feature installed ? I think that is available ? and I will install a new payment method I guess - to pay only with credit card. On PayPal I think you always need an account there.

I have reorganized the navigation a bit and updated the store and support request department. In the the store I have added the private online guitar lessons - either by video download or skype and in the support department I have added the " Guitar Support " ticket. All cool tools to make your learning experience more personal and to get your playing the the next level.

As it seems - the technical maintainance is done and all seems to work out fine. Please let me know if you monitor any problems. But I think the system should be stable now.

I am running into some technical difficulties which might lead that this website can be offline for a few days. I hope it will not happen but I just want to inform everybody that I am working on this problem and it will be solved. Hopfully without interruptions ? If there is any MySql and database expert out there - help would be welcome. I need to migrate my database to another server and have no clue how to do that.

Due to the corona crisis and the big shifts in our free societies I have decided to become active in philosophical and political ways. With a lot of worries I see what is going on in many countries in this world related to the corona crisis. I think all of us are worried and many of us look into an unsecure future. I don't want to get too political since it does not really make sense. I noticed that our society has splited up into 2 main groups. Each of them does not seem to understand each other anymore because each group is driven by fear. One group by the fear to loose there freedom and the other group by the fear of the virus. Desicions driven by fear hardly give us good results - so the very first step to get out of this destructiv circle is to let fear go. How do we do that ? By talking about the fears, by gathering information and last but not least by connection to yourself to find peace. Music is a great way to find inner peace - either by playing yourself or by listening to music. I will make my contribution with music here. I also gathered a lot of information and I can encourage you all to do so as well. There are many sources of information. Which one can be trusted ? The best way is to gather as many as possible and you make your own desicion which one sounds right to you. The bad choice is to only listen to one opinion. So lets us all stick together and try to get thru this and hopfully we will get our freedom back and we can help eachother. I was thinking a long time if I would take this topic into my work but it has an influence on all of us so thats ok. ?

Had a good talk with a friend today about the current situation and how to act upon it and so I came to the finding that indeed I concentrate back on my main target and that " change the world with music " ? ... basicly what I already been doing till now. Just want to start to create more new music. It's just a matter of time managment. Always so busy. ?

I think politics should not be discussed here - one of the main problems at least in Europe is that people dont listen to eachother anymore in political discussion and that creates a rift into our society. I think here should be how to harmonize and find strengh and peace thru music.
