  1. Mojo Blues Guitar

Mojo Blues Guitar Advanced Lesson Here I teach you an advanced mojo blues guitar riff in the key of E. First I will show you the riff in detail which is technically not too hard to play but in the trio situation with only drum and bass you have to play it well. In the second part of this tutorial I show you how to create a blues guitar improvisation with some chords, open spaces and feeling the music and the space and just adding a few notes. This is the truly advanced part of this tutorial even though it's technically not so hard to play. Music is about time and space and to feel and hear what you are playing. THE First Blues Guitar Riff This was my very first blues guitar riff I could play completely when I started guitar playing and I was very proud in showing the audience that I can play blues guitar. It is simple but already sounds the way blues guitar should sound and the best part of it is that even if you are an experienced blues guitar player you still can take out many things from it and sound great. 6. Ghost Blues Guitar ( Dark Surf Sound )

This is a cool slow blues guitar original which goes a bit along with the " From Dusk Till Dawn " vibe. The picture you can see is a church in North Italy which I saw during my summer travels 2022. It is also featured in the netflix series " Curon ". Somebody said it has a Link Wray influence and in fact it is true. Today I said to one of my students that I would call this genre either " Gothic Surf Sound " or " Dark Surf Sound " - so then it makes totaly sense. The tempo of the song is what makes it so special. I noticed on many recordings of other artists that the magic of a song often comes from the tempo of the song. A good example is " Loves Theme " by Barry White. Only the studio recording has that magic of that song which made it so famous. You can check it out. So my focus is often also on the tempo of a song.
  7. Back to guitar performance

It has in fact been quite a while since I did my last guitar performance. Due to the situation in the world I was not really motivated to practice my daily guitar skills and after practicing daily since my age of 20 the nealry one year break was nice. But now I felt it's time to pick up the guitar again and it's fun again and in fact even I practiced daily again it took me a few weeks to get back to a professional level again where I can play a one hour solo concert. I always say that it is a difference to just make some noise on the guitar or to instant create music - that difference is only possible when doing a professional guitar training. So with this performance I feel I am back again and the rest will happen with the further performances again because what you can not practice is to get into the playing flow during a performance. That is only possible if you do it. If you love this concert you are still free to pay Dr. Pink a drink here with a Guitar Night Donation : https://www.hanspeterkruesi.com/members/clients/donations/
