1 pointYou can always teach beginners - teaching beginners is most of the time to keep them engaged to continue to practice and to make them working on the difficulties everybody has at the beginning. if you have such a serious practice routine then add 5 min. break after each block of 20 minutes and after 3 blocks of 20 min - 15 min break. Some science guys found out that thats the most effectiv way to learn but I must admit I never tried it myself. I just play and play and play. Still enjoying to practice a lot.1 point

If you want to play a romantic rock balade and express your feelings then a balade in 6/8 is the one to go for. Why is 6/8 great for romantic rock ballads ? Because any measure in 3 or 6 creates a circle which is the sign of eternity and this gives the music you are playing that eternal vibe which has to be created. In romantic balades it’s always about emotions and not the technique or playing fast - but the bad news is that in my opinion slow songs on 6/8 are the hardest thing to play if you play an instrumental version of it. Why is that like this ? Because you have a lot of time to play the wrong notes.
